Health Tip: Do Your Homework Before Dining Out
By LadyLively on August 15, 2016
Eating out is fun for the entire family, but the temptation to over-indulge sometimes makes you want to stay home.
The American Heart Association recommends:
- Review the menu before you go, and look for a restaurant that offers healthy choices and the ability to prepare food on request.
- Avoid buffets and all-you-can-eat specials, which can make it too easy to overload on calories.
- Decide what you’ll order before you get to the restaurant, to make sure you’re making the best choice.
