Health Tip: When You’re a Caregiver With a Full-Time Job
By LadyLively on November 30, 2016
Caregiving is a stressful, time-consuming job that’s even more difficult when you also work outside the home.
Here are suggestions for working caregivers, courtesy of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
- Discuss your situation with your boss, expressing your commitment to being a productive employee. Ask about working from home and other flexible options.
- Don’t isolate yourself. Seek help from friends and family.
- Take care of yourself physically and mentally. Get regular exercise, plenty of sleep, eat a nutritious diet and relax as much as possible.
