Health Tip: Pets and Severe Weather
By LadyLively on April 12, 2019
Keeping your furry friends in mind when severe weather strikes should be a key part of your family’s safety plan, says the U.S. National Weather Service.
Pet owners should be sure to:
- Bring pets indoors during storms.
- Never leave pets alone in the car — in hot or cold weather.
- Confine pets to one room in case of flooding or wildfire.
- Make plans to care for pets in the event you must evacuate.
