Health Tip: Taking a Mental Health Day
By LadyLively on September 18, 2019
Taking a mental health day allows you to care for your mental health, something that’s often overlooked, the Gooden Center says.
Here are the center’s signs that you may need a mental health day:
- You are struggling with mental issues that are affecting your ability to work.
- You feel distracted or have trouble focusing.
- You are postponing health care appointments for work.
If you cannot take a mental health day, the Gooden Center says you should try to reduce stress in other ways — such as by meditating for 15 minutes or exercising.
