Balance problems may be hard to identify, since it’s often difficult to describe symptoms to a doctor.
The U.S. National Institutes of Health says warning signs of a balance problem may include:
- Feeling unsteady.
- Feeling that the room is spinning.
- While standing still or sitting, feeling as if you’re moving.
- Falling or losing balance.
- Feeling faint or lightheaded.
