Health Tip: Seek Treatment for a Broken Toe
By LadyLively on November 20, 2014

If you break a toe, it may not heal on its own without treatment.
The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons says complications of a broken toe may include:
- Developing a deformity in the bone, which can cause problems with mobility and in fitting shoes.
- Developing arthritis in the affected joint.
- Having chronic pain.
- Requiring surgery if the toe doesn’t heal properly.
