Health Tip: Turning Off the TV
By LadyLively on January 15, 2015

Less time in front of the TV or computer can mean more time being active.
The President’s Challenge Program offers this advice:
- Don’t have the TV or computer on while reading, eating or doing homework.
- When you do enjoy some screen time, break it up into small periods, interrupted with breaks for jumping jacks, walking up and down stairs, or other exercise.
- Don’t allow a TV in the bedroom.
