Health Tip: Evaluating Your Environment
By LadyLively on January 19, 2016
If you’re trying to lose weight, evaluate your environment to figure out how it affects your choices and habits.
The American Diabetes association advises:
- Consider whether you regularly eat in front of the TV, where you’re exposed to commercials tempting you with unhealthy food choices.
- Take a food inventory. Does what you buy support a healthy lifestyle?
- Look at your grocery list, and compare it to one that promotes healthy eating. Do they match up?
- Consider whether your environment outside of your home, at work and with friends is conducive to a healthy lifestyle.
