As a parent, you want to be sure that your child is developing appropriately — physically, socially and emotionally.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests:
- Discuss any concerns with your child’s doctor. Don’t put off the conversation.
- Use a checklist of milestones by age to see how your child has progressed.
- Find out about your state’s childhood-development resources.
