Some age-related vision loss is common. But because it tends to happen gradually, you may not be aware that your sight is ebbing.
The American Academy of Family Physicians mentions these signs of worsening vision:
- Difficulty reading your mail, or paying your bills.
- Trouble seeing the television.
- Problems signing your name.
- Having a hard time seeing well enough to walk up and down stairs.
- Squinting frequently.
