Mold growing inside your home can cause serious, even deadly, allergic reactions.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says potential symptoms of mold allergy include:
- A stuffy nose.
- Irritated eyes.
- Wheezing, coughing or throat irritation.
- Rash or other skin allergy.
- Serious lung infections among people with a compromised immune system or chronic lung disease.
