By LadyLively on June 17, 2016
Osteoporosis occurs when the bones lose density and break more easily. Though it’s a common problem, osteoporosis shouldn’t be ignored.
The National Osteoporosis Foundation says possible complications include:
- Broken bones.
- Chronic pain.
- Losing height.
- A hunched or stooped posture.
- Reduced mobility, which can result in feeling depressed or lonely.
- The potential need for nursing home care, such as for a broken hip.
