Here’s who should be checking blood sugar regularly, according to the American Diabetes Association:
- Anyone who takes insulin.
- Pregnant women.
- People with uncontrolled blood sugar.
- Anyone who struggles with low blood sugar, particularly if there are no warning signs.
- Those who develop ketone buildup as a result of high blood sugar.
