Health Tip: Opt for Healthier Beverages
By LadyLively on August 2, 2016
Some drinks can be a significant source of unnecessary calories and sugar. But there are healthier ways to quench your thirst.
The American Heart Association suggests:
- Skip sweet tea in favor of plain, unsweetened tea with a squirt of lemon, some berries or calorie-free sweetener.
- Enjoy a glass of club soda with fruit slices for added flavor.
- Skip mochas, and opt for a small latte. Ask for nonfat milk instead of whipped cream.
