Health Tip: Do Things as a Family
By LadyLively on December 8, 2016
It’s important that all household members gather to eat and exercise together at least a few times during the week.
The American Heart Association suggests:
- Keep a family schedule, and look for several 30-minute periods during the week when the entire family is available for exercise.
- Pick a time for the entire family to gather and select the upcoming week’s menu.
- Find ways to manage stress as a family.
- Make sure everyone in the home does their part to help out. Young children can perform age-appropriate chores.
