Health Tip: Choose a Sturdy Pair of Flip-Flops
By LadyLively on April 3, 2014

Flip-flops are a convenient and comfortable alternative during the warmer months. Choosing the right pair can help keep your feet healthy and safe.
The American Podiatric Medical Association offers this advice:
- Shop for flip-flops made of soft, high-quality leather to help protect against blisters.
- Make sure the flip-flops bend at the balls of the feet, but aren’t so flimsy that they bend in half.
- Check that the flip-flops fit well. Your foot should never hang off the edge.
- Replace worn flip-flops with a new pair.
