By LadyLively on April 19, 2019
An earache is a sharp, dull, or burning pain in one or both ears. The pain can have a variety of causes, from ear infections to pressure changes, says MedlinePlus.
To care for an earache at home, you can:
- Place a cold cloth on the outer ear.
- Chew gum.
- Rest in an upright position.
- Use over-the-counter ear drops or an OTC pain reliever.
