Legionnaire’s Disease Cases Linked to Graceland Hotel Rise to Nine
The number of Legionnaire’s disease cases in an outbreak linked to The Guest Hotel at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee has risen to nine, health officials say.
There were four confirmed cases as of late June, the Associated Press reported.
The Shelby County Health Department said people who visited the hotel between May 15 and June 26 and have symptoms such as cough, high fever and headaches should contact the department.
The health department allowed the hotel’s pool and hot tub to reopen after tests revealed no viable legionella bacteria, the AP reported.
