Health Tip: Kids Should Wear Life Jackets
By LadyLively on July 20, 2016
Life jackets, when used and fitted properly, provide extra safety for children in or around water.
The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests:
- Show your child how to put on a life jacket properly.
- Always fasten a life jacket according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Never use an inflatable ring, raft or toy in place of a life jacket.
- Adults should always wear life jackets, too, to set a good example.
