Health Tip: When to Call the Pediatrician About Tantrums
By LadyLively on May 19, 2015

While tantrums are a common way for children to express anger and frustration, some tantrums are serious enough that they should prompt a doctor’s intervention.
The University of Michigan Health System says you should speak with a pediatrician if:
- Your child’s tantrums each last longer than 10 minutes.
- Your child often loses control.
- You worry about your child’s behavior.
- You have a school-aged child who is still having tantrums.
- Anyone is hurt during a tantrum.
