By LadyLively on January 25, 2019
Fatigue occurs in more than 80 percent of people with MS, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society says.
The society suggests including these approaches to managing fatigue:
- Regulate your sleep, which might involve treating other MS symptoms that interfere with sleep (ie., spasticity, urinary problems).
- Psychological interventions, such as stress management, relaxation training, membership in a support group or psychotherapy.
- Heat management, including strategies to avoid overheating and to cool down.
- Medications to combat fatigue.
