Health Tip: Relax During the Holidays
By LadyLively on December 11, 2013
You may be overwhelmed with holiday stress, leaving you little energy to enjoy the season.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services suggests these relaxation techniques to help get you through the holidays:
- Take slow, deep breaths to help you slow breathing and relax.
- Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a relaxing, peaceful environment.
- Tense then relax the muscles throughout your body.
- Tell yourself positive things to help you feel better, such as “I can handle anything that comes my way.”
