Health Tip: Exercise in Cold Weather
By LadyLively on February 13, 2014

Before you head out into the cold to exercise, make sure you’re wearing enough layers.
The American Council on Exercise offers these suggestions:
- Wear a hat to help your body retain heat.
- Wear clothing that helps trap air but pulls moisture away from the body.
- Avoid materials made of tightly woven fabrics or heavy cotton.
- Keep your hands and feet warm with gloves and socks.
