Health Tip: Getting Your Beauty Sleep
By LadyLively on April 14, 2016
Beauty sleep is real. When you’re rested, you usually look and feel better.
The National Sleep Foundation says good sleep:
- Gives your body a chance to release growth hormone, which helps restore damage done during everyday activities.
- Allows your body to send more fluids where needed.
- Helps prevent release of stress hormones.
- Helps lower your risk of depression.
