Health Tip: Thwart Mold at Home
By LadyLively on July 18, 2014

Exposure to mold isn’t healthy, as it can trigger allergies, asthma and a number of other ills.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency suggests how to keep mold growth at bay:
- Address any leaks and areas of dampness or mold.
- Clean mold on hard surface with soap and water. Allow the area to dry completely.
- Open windows or run an exhaust fan when cooking, showering or washing dishes.
- Keep humidity levels throughout your home at 30 percent to 50 percent.
