Mayo mentions these potential causes of amnesia:
- Stroke.
- Brain inflammation.
- Heart attack.
- Carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Long-term alcohol abuse.
- Brain tumors.
- Seizures.
- Certain medication.
- Concussion.
