Health Tip: Craving Something Crunchy?
By LadyLively on March 28, 2016
When you can’t stop thinking about a crunchy, salty snack, give your body a healthier version of what you crave.
Consider these healthier alternatives suggested by the American Heart Association:
- Pour about a 1/4 cup of a whole-grain, no sugar-added cereal.
- Snack on a handful of unsalted nuts.
- Enjoy a serving of crisp bread made with whole grains.
- Whip up some popcorn and enjoy it plain. Or for flavor, skip salt and butter and sprinkle on some herbs or spices.
