Health Tip: Creating the Right Bedroom
By LadyLively on July 9, 2014
To help ensure a good night’s sleep, make sure your bedroom is built to bring on the zzzzz’s.
The National Sleep Foundation suggests these steps to help foster better sleep:
- Make sure your room is dark at bedtime. Dim the lights an hour before bed to help your body prepare for sleep.
- Choose colors that are soothing, and make sure your bedroom is clean and uncluttered.
- Maintain an ideal temperature of between 60 degrees and 67 degrees.
- Select a mattress, pillows and sheets that are comfortable.
